Sage reseller in Malaysia adds to its impressive win-streak by receiving its fifth consecutive Top Business Partner for Sage ERP Accpac award and a Sage Asia Premier Partner 2010 award.

CareWare Systems Sdn Bhd (, a Sage ERP Accpac business software reseller based in Malaysia, is proud to announce it has received the 2010 Top Sage Business Partner award for the fifth year in a row. It was also named as a Sage Asia Premier Partner in 2010, the first time it has received the award.

“We are thrilled to be honored with the 2010 Top Sage Business Partner award five years running,” says Robert Tan, Managing Director of CareWare Systems. “Attaining the number one position in a market like Malaysia is no easy feat, but retaining it five years in a row is even harder as you become the Sage business partner the competition wants to topple from the top spot.”

Tan believes a large part of his company’s success comes from a talented and dedicated staff of Accpac, business management and software development consultants. “The consulting, support and sales team has an unmatched commitment to delivering high-value business software solutions to our customers,” he says. “We have been implementing and supporting Sage ERP Accpac for over 20 years, which means we have a depth of experience that few other Accpac resellers can match in the region.”

CareWare specializes in Sage Accpac for a variety of industries, most notably manufacturing, construction, engineering and distribution. Tan credits the depth of knowledge his Accpac consultants have acquired over the years for the successful year the company enjoyed. “We had several projects for construction and manufacturing companies that put us against some impressive competition, including Dynamics” he notes. “Fortunately, we were able demonstrate that Accpac is a tremendous value for both small and mid-sized companies needing a proven international solution. Our team worked hard to deliver exceptional functionality for companies in need of project and job costing, make-to-order and make-to-stock manufacturing, and multicurrency reporting.”

Tan expects business in 2011 to pick up significantly compared to this time last year, which was among the slowest periods on record for the Sage Accpac reseller. “The global recession caused many Malaysian companies to postpone their planned software upgrades as business from overseas slowed, and even reversed in some cases,” he says. “Many of our customers are overdue on upgrades and realize that operating efficiently is a requirement for survival in today’s competitive market. We also expect a recent announcement by the Malaysian Prime Minister to invest heavily infrastructure development will drive many construction companies to seek state-of-the-art project and job costing solutions like the one offered by Sage Accpac.”

Another area of growth Tan expects to see in 2011 includes CRM, or customer relationship management, as many Malaysian companies seek to integrate sales, operations and reporting into one seamless solution. “We believe that many of Sage’s new product advances will drive demand for most of the year, and hopefully we will have a chance to bring home the top Sage Partner award for 2011 too,” Tan says with enthusiasm.
