Seating is first come, first served; reservations aren't accepted. The restaurant will offer appetizers and drink specials on concert nights, in addition to the traditional, smoke-cooked Texas BBQ menu items prepared by County Line's Texas-bred battalion of grill masters. (FYI: County Line offers half-price appetizers and drink specials every weeknight from 4 - 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.) In case of inclement weather, the music concerts are moved inside.

The calendar so far for 2011 is:
04-Mar-2011        Cody Johnson Band

11-Mar-2011        Buck Yeager Band

18-Mar-2011        The Scooter Brown Band

Now in its second year, the first music series ran every Friday night throughout the summer of 2010 with Texas music legends like Cory Morrow, Stoney LaRue, Jason Boland, Josh Abbott, Charlie Robison, Jaime Richardson, Brandon Ryder, and many many more.

“This promises to be another great music series on the lake,” says County Line owner Juan Gutierrez. “The music series is growing at an incredible pace in the Lake Conroe area; Sixth Street in Austin should be worried!”

Sherryjane Cooke the music writer with the Houston Country Music Examiner agrees: “So, by air, land or sea... this is the place to be, for incredible Country Music, mouth watering barbeque, and peace on the lake...Lake Conroe. Congratulations, Lake Conroe and County Line BBQ for bringing us the best of Texas!”

County Line BBQ on Lake Conroe is located at 15256 Highway 105 West in Montgomery, TX. It is open 11am - 9pm Sundays through Thursdays and from 11am - 11pm Fridays and Saturdays.

History: County Line BBQ opened their newest location on Lake Conroe in June 2009, adding to their other location in North West Houston. Both are beautiful, unique restaurants. Taking three years of careful plan and design, the newest location on Lake Conroe has two patios with a full bar overlooking Lake Conroe, with the music series concert stage and two-tier deck next to the water. The North West location is set among three acres of pine trees, with three banquet rooms available to rent. Of course, the food is the same quality and legendary taste that The County Line is famous for.

The County Line locations in Houston and Lake Conroe are family owned and operated by Juan Gutierrez. He started working for The County Line BBQ 25 years ago as a bus boy, worked his way up to management and was given the opportunity six years ago to acquire the North West location. “It has been a great experience but plenty of hard work,” says Juan. “I hope I can inspire other working class people that it is possible to succeed, even when the odds are against you. We live in the greatest country in the world. No where else can opportunity be seized like here. It does not come knocking on your door, but you can knock on its door, and with perseverance, honesty, and hard work that door will open and let you in.”
