According to reports from CNN.com N.Y. Rep. Chris Lee resigned after a controversial Craigslist personals scandal. (Source: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2011/02/09/ny-rep-chris-lee-resigns/) The congressman is married and has at least one child according to the report. Many media agencies have jumped on the opportunity to cover this news and one unknown but controversial figure has come forward to give the Congressman and others like him some advice.
Jay James, the co-creator of a cheating and affair information website http://www.avoidgettingcaught.com says, “Congressman Chris Lee could have avoided this mess if he would have used a little common sense. Had he thought about what he was doing it could have saved his career. For instance, why would you post a real picture of yourself on a personals or even a public website like Craigslist? It doesn’t make sense. It’s almost as if he wanted to get caught or he has a huge ego.”
The affairs expert is planning on getting an information package out to the congressman. It’s a bold move on the part of James but he and his business partner are not new to being bold. They are attacking a subject that many people find revolting and immoral but is a multi-billion dollar industry.
There are internet sites making millions of dollars banking on marriage failure in this Country. Congressman Chris Lee is an example of something seriously wrong. According to James, “Chris Lee, Tiger Woods, Jesse James, and all the other high profile people who have been in the news should seriously consider getting educated on how to keep secrets. You would think these guys would have it down pat. But that’s farthest from the truth. They need someone to help them keep secrets.”
Now, according to other sources, the Congressman and his wife are “working things out”. (Source: Politicsdaily.com) James wishes the Congressman the best but with Valentine’s Day gone you have to wonder if there will be more “celebrities” having affairs in the coming months.
According to James, “I’m expecting at least five or six more celebrity scandals over the next year.” And if James is right let’s hope they are not major political figures that could impact our Country the same way Congressman Lee’s or even our ex-president Bill Clinton did. Someone always has to take their place.
