NRG Miser cuts prices of Energize Delaware Energy Audits. The cuts will allow more Delaware Residents to participate in the rebate program.

The audit provides customers the single-biggest opportunity to save money on bills,'' says James Bowler,

NRG Miser Corp (, Delaware's Energy Choice today announced significant price reductions for Delaware Residents looking to participate in the Energize Delaware Home Performance Program. The state of Delaware began offering an Energy Conservation program through it website a few months ago. Since the program began NRG Miser has conducted hundreds of residential home energy audits and provided contracting services to help save Delawareans thousands on energy bills. The state program reimburses the fee for the audit, and also provides guidance on rebates and grants available to improve the home. The program has maximum rebates of $8250.00 but the rebate levels expire on 03/31/2010.

NRG Miser has been constantly working to lower the $300-$500 costs of the required Energy Audit to participate in the program. NRG Miser is now proud to announce the Energize Delaware residential energy audit price has been reduced to $99.99.

An audit will give you a top-to-bottom analysis of your home's energy use and a blueprint for making your home more efficient. "The audit provides customers the single-biggest opportunity to save money on bills,'' says James Bowler, "It allows customers to take control of their energy costs.'' James continued to state, "Everyone benefits from an audit and rebates to receive improvements; the problem was the high initial outlay for the audit."

NRG Miser is one of the states few Home Performance Energy contractors participating in the program. That means that NRG Miser is capable of conducting the audit and scheduling the work all at the same time. They also handle the required state and federal filings for rebates and grants.

"It's really amazing what this program has been able to accomplish in such a short time," stated Grover Rice, NRG Miser BPI Certified Auditor, "I have been able to help clients save tens of thousands of dollars with simple fixes to their homes."

As spring approaches and with the current state grants and federal tax credits in place, making your home more energy efficient may never be easier or more affordable. The programs current rebates are set to expire on 03/31/2010. To get more information on Energy Audits visit
