HiSoftware Inc. (http://www.hisoftware.com), a leading provider of Web content and compliance solutions, today announced two new executive hires. Former Vamosa CEO George Knox has joined the executive team as Managing Director, International and will be responsible for driving the company’s growth abroad. The company has also added Deidre Moore to the US team as Vice President of Marketing.
“The explosive growth of content in both public and private digital environments is creating unprecedented opportunities for collaboration and transparency. But with these opportunities come significant accessibility, governance and privacy challenges that require organizations to ensure information remains protected. It’s precisely these dynamics that are driving new markets for our solutions, so I’m delighted to welcome George and Deidre to the HiSoftware family,” said President and CEO, Kurt A. Mueffelmann. “Both are seasoned veterans with significant domain expertise in enterprise content and document management technologies, as well as in key verticals such as financial services, healthcare and public sector. With their leadership, we are strongly positioned to continue our growth trajectory both in the US and abroad, while expanding our customer footprint in important new geographies.”
As Managing Director, Knox will be responsible for sales and business development operations in Europe and other key international markets. A proven executive with a successful track record of starting and growing innovative technology companies, he was most recently Executive Chairman and CEO of Vamosa, a leader in enterprise content governance and migration software named by Gartner as a "cool vendor in content management." Prior to Vamosa, Knox held executive leadership positions with Eclectic; Druid Systems; Gamut Technologies; and Computer Associates. Knox holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Glasgow Caledonian University.
As HiSoftware’s Vice President of Marketing, Moore will be responsible for designing and implementing all marketing communications and branding programs, including demand generation, social media, conferences and events, and public relations. A senior software marketing professional with extensive experience in both B2B and B2C markets, Moore was most recently Director of Marketing with Cartera Commerce, a provider of multi-channel merchant networks and performance advertising solutions based in Lexington, MA. Prior to that, she served for more than 5 years as Director of Marketing with Bottomline Technologies, where she was responsible for all brand, marketing communications and demand generation programs supporting the company’s corporate payment, invoice and document automation solutions. Moore has also held senior marketing and corporate communications positions at Workscape, Inc. (now part of ADP); CMGI, Inc.; Mullen Public Relations; and The Weber Group (now Weber Shandwick Worldwide). She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Holyoke College.
