The National Professional Science Master’s Association (NPSMA) announces its Best Practices Workshop which will be held February 25, 2011 at Morgan State University, Baltimore, Maryland. The event will be hosted by Morgan State University and the HBCU Mid-Atlantic PSM Alliance.
Workshop participants will participate in engaging discussions, and take home best practices for the development of successful PSM degree programs.
This workshop’s focus is “Creating Meaningful and Sustainable Alliances with Industry.” Keynote Speaker is Susan Sloan, Director, GUIRR, The National Academies.
Workshop session topics include "What’s in it for us?" and "PSM Data Collection: Looking to the Future". Panel discussions include "Securing Faculty and Administration Buy-in" and "Experiences of the HBCU Alliance". An Interactive Workshop Session will address industry perspectives.
