Nyack, NY (PRWEB) February 10, 2011
John Nunziato, creative director and founder of Little Big Brands, has been named to GDUSA’s (Graphic Design USA) 2011 People to Watch list.
GDUSA describes this annual list as, “A truly remarkable roster of the great and near-great across generations. If this list does not read like a Hall of Fame, we don’t know what does.” This list is intended to embody the spirit of the creative community. The criteria: individuals we have come to know and respect for their talent, leadership, success, insight, business savvy, community service and newsworthiness.
“I’m honored to have been recognized by GDUSA, and to join the talented individuals selected this year,” said Nunziato. “I have to give kudos to our clients and also my colleagues at Little Big Brands. Our clients are true partners who allow us to create inspired, fearless design. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work with.”
John started Little Big Brands in 2001 out of his two-bedroom sublet apartment with $250 in the bank. Ten years later, the firm has grown to a small collective of talented individuals creating beautiful packaging for brands big and little. Nunziato is a veteran of the design and branding world. He’s helped create unique identities and packaging for a blue chip list of clients, including Burger King, Coca-Cola, Gillette, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Unilever, Salomon Smith Barney, Louis Vuitton and Sun Products Corp. His work has been featured in magazines such as Brandweek, Brand Packaging, GDUSA, Package Design, Packaging World, and a long list of design annuals and books. John is a member of the AIGA, and a member of Popsop.com’s expert network where he writes a monthly opinion piece on design trends.
GDUSA is one of the design trade’s most respected publications. The monthly magazine has been a leading source of information and resources for creative professionals since 1963.
