Frequent Traveler Awards Annual Ceremony 2011

The overwhelming positive feedback received from attendees after last year's event motivated me to make sure this year's event would be memorable and talked about for years to come

The Frequent Traveler Education Foundation (FTEF) announced today the location of the annual Frequent Traveler Awards ceremony which takes place on April 28, 2011 at 7:00pm Eastern Time. The 2011 Frequent Traveler Awards ceremony will be located inside Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, in Flushing, NY.

Following the large turnout and enthusiasm from the inaugural event last year, FTEF President Tommy Danielsen indicated that the group is focused on continuing in its mission to recognize the best of the travel loyalty programs. “The overwhelming positive feedback received from attendees after last year’s event motivated me to make sure this year’s event would be memorable and talked about for years to come,” said Danielsen.

An avid baseball fan himself, Danielsen was quick to play up the venue location, “The Mets will not be playing a baseball game during our annual ceremony but our guests and attendees are still going to see some solid base hits and perhaps a few home runs as we announce the winners of the 2011 award recipients.”

About The Frequent Traveler Awards
The Frequent Traveler Awards represent excellence in frequent travel programs worldwide, rating the best frequent flyer and frequent guest programs. Frequent flyer and frequent guest programs from around the world will compete in seven categories. Voters will select programs in one of three global regions: Americas, Europe/Africa, and the Middle East/Asia and Oceania. The Frequent Traveler Awards will be voted on by frequent travelers worldwide, allowing them to rank airline and hotel programs from their point of view. The merits of what each program offers will determine the winners. For more information, go to http://www.ftawards.com.
