Godengo, a provider of digital platforms for magazine publishers, announced today it has added an experienced media professional to its sales team serving the magazine industry.
Krysta Nevin has joined the firm and will be based in Minneapolis, MN, where she will create new online sales programs for Godengo’s 150 clients. Nevin had previously been a campaign specialist for Internet Broadcasting, St. Paul, MN. In her role there for the past five years, she worked with television stations owned by Cox, Hearst-Argyle Television, Post Television, News Press Gazette, and Telemundo. Nevin worked directly with TV station sales organizations to help them develop custom online sales programs, which created new revenue streams for the stations.
“Most magazine publishers tell us that one of the most important things we do for them is help them monetize their websites and create new revenue streams,” said Kim Keller, Godengo’s vice president of sales. “Krysta will create new programs to accomplish just that for our publisher customers.”
Keller said Nevin will immediately begin contacting Godengo clients to offer suggestions on how to sell local advertisers on proven sales programs she has experience implementing nationwide. Nevin will also create new sales programs leveraging Godengo’s mobile apps, national ad network, and interactive video-based ad campaigns.
“As I look at my accomplishments, I’m most proud of my ability to tackle challenges through positive relationships with local publishers, while helping them to grow their online revenue,” said Nevin. “I do this through trust, good communication, and excellent knowledge of the product I represent. I’m looking forward to building new relationships with all of Godengo’s clients.”
