Since its premier January 21, 2010 at Epic Theatres of St. Augustine, Florida, this movie has been shown in theaters from St. Augustine, Florida to Binghamton, New York. This dramatic, intriguing, and suspenseful love story is based on actual events. Though a full-length independent movie with a micro-budget, it is proof that tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars do not need to be expended in order to make an enjoyable, creative work of art. All of the music in Grazia is original and exceptional for which we have James Edward Holmes to thank at

The creation of the movie Grazia was an intense and challenging project. Though St. Augustine, Florida is the oldest city in the nation, it is also quaint, charming, and romantic. It was curious that a dramatic love story had never been filmed there. Practically, all of the filming took place in north Florida which included Palm Coast, Putnam County, Grandin, and Jacksonville. It is a product about which we are most proud. It took 22 days to complete the shoot. Most of those days were comprised of 14-18 hours per day.

Grazia (Italian for the name Grace) was adapted from the novel Grace written by Dr. Wendell Vanderbilt Fountain in 2002 who produced, directed, and at the last minute, had to step in to play the male lead. The female lead was played by Tecla Dal Degan-Kindschi, who hails from near Venice, Italy. This movie is special in that practically all of the actors had little or no acting experience; yet, their performances were special and notable, and combined with the superb original music, the story came together as though trained, movie professionals were creating Grazia.

Most of the filming occurred in St. Augustine proper, at such establishments as Le Pavillon, Old City House, The Conch House, The St. Francis Inn, Scarlett O'Hara's, Casablanca Inn, The Casa Monica Hotel, Amici's, and Mango, Mango's. Scenes were also shot at the European Village - La Piazza Cafe in Palm Coast, Tangled Oaks Vineyard, Grandin, FL, The American Cafe & Harpoon Louie's, Jacksonville, FL.

It should be noted that without the coordinating, location scheduling, wardrobe preparation and make-up, by Dr. Grace Mandicott Fountain, our dream would never have become a reality. She also played a part and sang in the movie. Thankfully, we were also able to rely on many friends and family to support the project, and we made many new friends during the filming process. Also, special thanks goes to Angeline Grace Mandicott (Executive Producer) and Mike and Tricia Petroff (Co-producers).
