Miami-based Homeland Security Training leader expands a tradition established in 2004 of donating to the nation’s First Responders and Law Enforcement.

On the tenth anniversary of the barbaric attacks by Radical Islam against the American people and the deaths of nearly three thousand Americans and First Responders, Security Solutions International – SSI™ – has announced a scholarship training program that will amount to $50,000 worth of training during the course of this 10th year anniversary.

“We need to remember those who gave their lives, both innocent victims of barbarism and brave First Responders – Fire, EMTs, Police – who charged in to help others and save lives, losing their own in the process,” states SSI President Henry Morgenstern. “We will be giving a lot of the training to members of our Homeland Security Network and to agencies across the country where the applicants qualify.”

Sol Bradman, SSI’s CEO and the man responsible for The Counter Terrorist Magazine and the training programs, has pledged: “With the spate of police killings, we want to contribute to saving lives. That is something that our courses can do. Where agencies cannot afford the money, we will enable participants to apply and be qualified to obtain free training slots at events like our MACTAC active shooter, SWAT to CTU Explosives Mitigation, Suicide Terror, Behavioral Profiling, and, of course, our Annual Homeland Security Professionals Conference in Las Vegas.”

The company has donated training since its early days, when agencies that showed they had no budget were allowed slots without being charged. The company even raffled off a slot on its much acclaimed Training in Israel program that went to a lucky officer of the Capitol Police Force back in 2006 – a donation worth $4000.00. Forms for applying and details of the free scholarships will appear on the company’s new website by March. Visit the site and you will be directed to download the applications. Any bona fide First Responder, member of the military, or homeland security professional is invited to apply. The final decision on who will receive the scholarships is entirely that of SSI. Results will appear throughout the year on the web site.
