"Spacesaver Athletic Equipment Storage solutions will not only increase your school’s capacity, but more importantly will protect your team’s valuable equipment, while keeping it organized and easily accessible at all times."
Santa Fe Springs, CA (PRWEB) February 11, 2011
McMurray Stern, the exclusive Southern California Mobile Shelving Dealer for Spacesaver, is participating in the athletic equipment storage makeover contest for K-12 schools in the U.S., as part of the Spacesaver “Organized Sports” campaign. The contest offers schools the opportunity to win an athletic equipment storage system valued at $30,000.
Athletic directors, coaches, athletic trainers, principals, superintendents, booster club presidents, and other school representatives are asked to submit a one hundred word summary of why their school needs a new athletic storage system, along with a photo of their current athletic storage area, at http://mcmurraystern.com/rockurstorage/RockURStorage.html. Students, coaches, parents, alumni, etc., can then immediately start voting for their school at the Rock UR Storage website until midnight on March 31, 2011.
On April 1, 2011, Spacesaver will announce the winning school - no fooling!
Schools all over the country invest tens of thousands of dollars in their students’ sports equipment, from helmets to pads to jerseys and other gear. Organizing and protecting this investment is critical.
According to Mark Haubenschild, Vice President of Sales at Spacesaver, “The Spacesaver Athletic Equipment Storage solutions will not only increase your school’s capacity, but more importantly will protect your team’s valuable equipment, while keeping it organized and easily accessible at all times.”
This in turn improves inventory management for the school, saves time for a team’s staff and students to practice, and improves the safety and well-being of players by drying and airing out equipment.
“Winning teams take pride in their equipment and the rooms that store their equipment. Spacesaver is excited to offer a $30,000 athletic equipment storage makeover to a U.S. school. We are using a variety of social media to get the word out about the contest, hoping the makeover will go viral among coaches and athletic directors and teachers, so that many schools throughout the country participate,” said Milissa Rick, Director of Marketing for Commercial Business at Spacesaver. “We have organized the contest so students at the submitting schools can also get involved in voting for their athletic team’s storage makeover. We are anxious to see how the contest unfolds over the next two months as the competition gains momentum among coaches and schools. Spacesaver plans on announcing the winner of the contest on April 1st via postings on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and our website.”
