Hosting.com's unique service offerings assist companies with the entire application and customer lifecycle.
Denver, CO, (PRWEB) February 10, 2011
Hosting.com, the leading provider of cloud hosting and recovery services, today announced the release of its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Acceleration Program. This program was developed to help SaaS developers and independent software vendors (ISV) take advantage of Hosting.com's experience in helping companies launch cloud-enabled SaaS solutions that support rapid scale and growth. Hosting.com consults with companies to reduce the typical frustrations associated with turning a traditional software delivery model into a cloud, SaaS solution.
The SaaS Acceleration Program consists of cloud infrastructure, services and support that are designed to help ISVs bridge the transformation gap as they migrate to a cloud-enabled SaaS solution. Hosting.com’s four-phased approach consists of Preparation, Implementation, Validation and Maintain. This approach addresses all aspects of a customer’s application migration, readiness and deployment into the cloud. Hosting.com’s unique service offerings assist companies with the entire application and customer lifecycle; including: pricing considerations, resource allocation, charge-backs, necessary compliance controls, and the time and resources necessary to acquire new clients.
Hosting.com is launching the SaaS Acceleration Program on the heels of hiring an Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Bruce Greiner. Bruce joined Hosting.com from Oracle in November where he served as the Sales Director of On-Demand Cloud Services. Based on his experience at Oracle and various software vendors, Bruce saw the need for Hosting.com to offer a solution to organizations wishing to migrate to or create a cloud-enabled SaaS strategy.
“The SaaS marketplace is growing at an extraordinary rate. Most of the companies in this marketplace are great at developing software and applications, but are constrained by their lack of infrastructure architecture, maintenance and scale expertise.,” said Greiner, “We are making a commitment to the growing number of ISVs and application developers by offering a SaaS strategy that provides the consultation and support they need to remove infrastructure, solution availability and scale demands as obstacles to their SaaS strategies.”
Hosting.com is unveiling the SaaS Acceleration Program at the VMware Partner Exchange (PEX), taking place February 8-11 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida. PEX attendees can visit Hosting.com in the Cloud Pavilion (Booth V5) to experience a SaaS Acceleration demonstration or enroll in the Hosting.com Partner Program.
