Perceptis, Inc., the only independent full service provider of help desk, strategic enrollment management and customer support services to the higher education market, has announced the expansion of its management team by securing personnel with broad industry and operational experience to take full opportunity of current and future growth potential. Russ Seiter, formerly Executive Vice President of Operations and Client Services, has been appointed to the position of Executive Vice President of Client Services, and Ed Tola, Vice President of Sales, has been appointed to Vice President of Business Development. Perceptis has also hired Hank Bowman as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and Mark Pfeiler as Vice President of Operations.

Russ Seiter, who has been heavily involved in overseeing the operations function, will now be able to specifically focus his activities on customer relations, account management, customer retention, new business with existing customers and new client implementations. Ed Tola, previously driving Perceptis’ sales and marketing efforts, will now be able to focus on the company’s growth initiatives and managing ongoing relationships with Perceptis’ strategic partners.

Hank Bowman, 47, joins Perceptis from Destiny Solutions where he was Senior Vice President of Sales. Bowman has held executive positions at Campus Management and WebCT. “College and University support services are directly tied to retention, graduation and development of the life-long learner,” said Bowman. “Perceptis has the core belief that clients deserve quality support, and everyone in the company has a passion for delivering a level of service unmatched in the market. It’s an exciting time to be a part of Perceptis.” With over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, Bowman is responsible for all direct sales activities, marketing efforts, corporate branding and lead generation.

Mark Pfeiler joins Perceptis from Windstream Communications where he was Vice President of the Customer Experience Center. Pfeiler has over 20 years of senior call center leadership with previous positions at NuVox, NewSouth and MCI. “Higher education institutions require partners that understand the unique needs of their community,” said Pfeiler. “The Perceptis team has been able to deliver support solutions that improve the experience for students, faculty, and staff. It is a great opportunity to be invited by Colleges and Universities to become part of their culture and assisting them in innovating for success.” Pfeiler will manage call center operations, technology, training, quality assurance and human resources. He lives in Greenville, SC where he will oversee his operations from Perceptis’ new offices.
