New site offers Webinars, presentations, white papers and online “chat” sessions with trade show experts.

Carrollton, Texas-based The Trade Group is launching a new online knowledge center that shares how companies can advance their trade show displays, exhibitions and related marketing efforts. The online education center provides marketing insights for trade shows, plus related Webinars, white papers and The Trade Secrets blog.

“This online center is part of our commitment to help business executives and their marketing personnel access content that’s practical vs. promotional,” said Chris Stone, president of The Trade Group, an exhibition manufacturing and services company in Carrollton, Texas (approximately 17 miles northwest of downtown Dallas). “No matter the type or size of a company, exhibiting at trade shows can be costly. Every decision maker must make best-informed decisions about their trade show exhibits, and what is required before, during and after the show. Generating sales leads and a real return are paramount. This center provides the knowledge base for smart, precise decisions.”

One customer of The Trade Group is Karndean International, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of luxury vinyl flooring. The company, based in Export, Pa., near Pittsburg, depends on trade shows as a cornerstone of its annual sales and marketing efforts.

“We exhibit at four large, commercial trade shows every year and go to great lengths to be poised and prepared to make the biggest impression we can,” said Michael Lang, senior marketing manager at Karndean International. “We simply don’t have the time to manage all the details, so we rely on The Trade Group to turnkey everything. Its services, people—and its online knowledge base—make sure we do it all right, from exhibit visuals and messaging to marketing, even set-up and tear down.”

A recent survey by the Trade Show Exhibitors Association shows that trade shows account for one-third of an organization’s overall marketing budget.
