Image Vision Labs™ Announces the Industry’s First Network-Based Anti-Sexting Solution That Allows Parental Control for Mobile Users

With occurrences of Sexting (images, video, and text) on the rise, Image Vision Labs utilizes proprietary technology to provide mobile operators new tools and options for detecting, blocking, and reporting of objectionable images and text to parents.

According to a recent study, 20% of children are sending inappropriate pictures of themselves, called sexting, to peers via their mobile phones.

Today, the number of text messages sent and received every day exceeds the population of the planet. Image Vision Lab’s solution called iGuardian™ is capable of blocking nudity in both images and video and transparently analyzing MMS messages for inappropriate content. The iGuardian solution utilizes proprietary technology to assess videos for nudity, offensive imagery, and obscene motions/gestures and scores it based upon geographical and country standards. In addition, iGuardian is capable of analyzing an image or video in milliseconds with selectable degrees of sensitivities and then flagging or quarantining the content for further operator-specified action. This allows mobile operators varying levels of service agreements and new revenue opportunities. In addition, parents can be provided a secure web portal for account owners to view message history and details for each subscribed mobile phone.
