Relectrocycle, http://relectrocycle.com, has been working with several local businesses and non-profit organizations in Ocala, Belleview, The Villages and all across Central Florida to help the community to responsibly recycle old & unwanted electronic items, while helping to raise money for charity.

“The Electronics Recycling Charity events provide a unique fund raising opportunity for non-profit organizations, schools and businesses; their benefit is 3-fold. First, community members have a place to responsibly dispose of unwanted electronic items that are taking up space in their homes and business. Secondly, the events help local non-profit organizations raise much needed funds. Thirdly, the recycling events help keep toxic electronics out of our local Florida landfills,” explained Jack Ostteen, Owner of Relectrocycle, http://relectrocycle.com.

For the Feb. 19th eRecycle Drive, Ocala community members will be able to drive up and have their electronic donations unloaded from their vehicle for them, providing a quick and easy way for people to dispose of the unwanted electronic items. Relectrocycle provides a free certification of data destruction to all of the community members who required this service.

Some of the Special Olympics athletes will also be in attendance to meet and thank donators for supporting the Special Olympics Marion County, http://soflmarioncounty.org, chapter.
