San Diego, CA (PRWEB) February 16, 2011
Eyecom3, a division of HealthLine Systems, Inc. announced today that it will seek to receive certification as a Complete EHR in the third quarter of 2011. The Eyecom3software system will submit to review by an ONC-ATCB in accordance with the applicable Eligible Provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
Eyecom3 is in the process of rapidly developing several enhancements to the product while simultaneously creating a series of testing protocols to fully meet the requirements. Eyecom3 is also actively selecting an ONC ATCB vendor, an intermediary officially designated and certified to test software for certification on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services.
“Eyecom3 is pleased to offer the optometric community and our clients a certified EHR, enabling them to satisfy the meaningful use criteria and be eligible to request stimulus funding,” said Dan Littrell, HealthLine Systems Chief Executive Officer. “Optometric providers that implement Eyecom3-EHR prior to October 1, 2011 may be eligible to receive full 2011 funding.
