Since 1978, Kindermusik has used music and movement to help develop early literacy, math, social-emotional skills, as well as music appreciation and laughter appreciation to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and big kids. The Good Beginnings Grant program will be giving out 5 $1,000 grants to those individuals and organizations who want to help children get off to a good beginning.

In previous years, Kindermusik has relied on paper applications and votes; with WizeHive’s Online Contest Software the voting process has been easier than ever.

"The Kindermusik Good Beginnings Grant program exceeded our expectations, in large part due to the WizeHive's Contest Software. The Contest Software made it easy for us to communicate with and track our applicants, and the voting process was fast and efficient," says Kindermusik's Shawn Currie. "In just one month of public voting, we received over 500,000 votes.”

WizeHive's innovative Contest Software and Grant Management Software provides a voting portal for such organizations like KinderMusik, to run their grant contest. Not only do they work with the organization to create the application format, but also provide the space and ability for applicants to upload photos and videos in an organized and secure manner.

Once the applicants have posted their ideas and photos, the public then has the option to vote on their preferred choice. Voters watch their favorites rise in the ranks while internally Kindermusik tracks the voting data privately from their secure Grant Management portal.

WizeHive also has hands-on live support to get you through the contest from start to finish. “The entire process--from application submission to public voting--was streamlined and simple,” says Currie. “As the project progressed, the WizeHive team helped us every step of the way."
