Women on Fire Founder To Spring Women Into Action This March

Women on Fire Founder Debbie Phillips will keynote R.E.N.E.W. ~ A WOMEN’S EXPO in Alpena, Michigan on March 12, 2011.

Phillips’s keynote will address “How To Be a Woman On Fire...Even if You Can’t Find Your Spark!” She also will lead an interactive workshop for attendees, titled: “How To Find Your Passion and Fully Live It.”

“The goal was to create a day so inspiring and motivating that lasting impacts will take hold and create an ongoing communication and network for women,” said Jackie Krawczak, Executive Director of the Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce. “I believe we have put together a day that will accomplish our goals beyond what any of us imagined we could each do on our own.”

The regional event will take place at the APlex in Alpena, Michigan from 9am – 4 pm. The daylong event is a perfect example of the magic that happens when women connect to bring an inspiring idea to reality.

“I am excited to help spark the fire within Michigan women,” said Phillips. “In my 15 years as an Executive and Life Coach, I’ve seen how the key ingredients of success – inspiration, strategies and support – can make a transformative difference in a woman’s life. I am honored to be part of an event that brings all three of these components together in one day.”

Phillips speaks at events around the country and since 2003, Women on Fire has connected women to one another to maximize their success through retreats, tea parties, coaching groups and media including the 2010 Indie Award® winning book Women on Fire: 20 Inspiring Women Share Their Life Secrets (and Save You Years of Struggle!), and the video Inspire Me!

In addition to a wine tasting and book signing, the event features a morning workshop by Christine Wagner, international consultant and trainer, titled: “Using Your Whole Brain For An Amazing Whole Life.” A panel discussion, “Success Stories: Lessons, Sacrifices, & Perseverance,” will be moderated by Elaine Stenger, author of Dancing in the Rain.

“Our mission is to create a dynamic venue in our community for women to connect, collaborate, and nurture each other’s dreams,” said M. E. Jones, author and R.E.N.E.W. committee member. “We could all use support in igniting our life’s purpose and passion.”
