Tx Xchange’s Telehealth Software Will Be Used by Colorado Hand Therapy’s Clinics to Supplement Traditional Clinic-based Care, Improve Patient Outcomes, and Deliver Innovative Online Health Services to Meet Market Demand.

Colorado Hand Therapy (CHT) and Tx Xchange announced today the deployment of Tx Xchange’s telehealth software in all of CHT’s hand therapy clinics.

“Tx Xchange’s telehealth software will be used to improve patient participation, outcomes, and provide our patients with a more modern and engaging rehab experience. By giving our patients web-based access to secure messaging with their therapist, personalized video-based treatment plans, health literacy, and reminders we can much more effectively enable their participation and help them attain the outcomes they want.” said Karl Zander, Colorado Hand Therapy’s General Manager.

Orthopedic healthcare providers use Tx Xchange’s telehealth software to supplement traditional office-based care. Patients login to their personalized portal to securely communicate with their provider, conveniently participate in their own care, and achieve more successful outcomes. A recent case study using data from Optum Health / United Healthcare shows that Tx Xchange’s telehealth software improves patient participation, outcomes, and satisfaction.

“We’re very pleased Colorado Hand Therapy has chosen to deploy our telehealth software. As leaders in the field of hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, their decision speaks to business value of improving outcomes and providing a superior level of patient-centric care.” said Mark Barnes, DPT and CEO of Tx Xchange.

As part of the agreement, CHT will develop HD video-based upper extremity exercise protocols and make them available to other healthcare providers using Tx Xchange’s web-based telehealth software. Marketing video-based protocols to other therapists for use in their practices is just one way CHT plans to use Tx Xchange to launch new revenue streams.

“The time is right to provide our expertise and treatment plans to our patients online. There is increasing demand for professional healthcare services to be delivered via the web and we look forward to using Tx Xchange to address that market opportunity and grow new revenue streams,” said Karl Zander.
