We are extremely excited and happy to have developed this technology

Today, Angel 7 Industries, LLC (A7) announce its development of an innovative and proprietary pilot helmet technology, 3 Stage Aircrew Visor (3SAV), which will revolutionize a pilot's cockpit experience.
"We are extremely excited and happy to have developed this technology," said Kerry S. Harris, Director of A7. "I didn't realize that the work and practice I put in developing technology for motorcycle helmets was the foundation to take the next step to revolutionize the industry. The 3SAV technology will allow one visor to take the place of several. The technology is designed to minimize the workload of pilots in a useful and convenient way that is also welcomed and needed."
The 3SAV technology utilizes a proprietary coating stack that allows the visor to automatically adjust to varying lighting conditions both in and out of the aircraft. The chemical stack allows a visor to lighten or darken under the aircraft's canopy, while also being virtually impervious to fuels, saltwater, and chemicals. It is also 33% more scratch resistant than the standard pilot's visor. The visor can also be tailored using different variations of the coating stack, integrating laser eye protection (LEP) into the chemical matrix to accommodate different missions, theaters of operation, and environments, making it a multi-use visor.
"Regardless of the aircraft, a pilot's workload is still strenuous; therefore, when I designed the technology, I tried to design it from a foundational perspective--meaning it can be tailored to different theaters of operations and missions but still encompass all of the inherent utility and usefulness," says Mr. Harris.
The innovative technology is currently being tested by a major government contractor, with hopes of being used in current and future military projects.
