Fairy Tales Hair Care, the creators and leaders in professional children's hair care is now being distributed by SalonCentric. The #1 Rosemary Repel Lice Prevention line will now be available through the Loreal distribution network consisting of 3,800 salon professionals, 1,240 distributor sales consultants and more than 757 stores in the U.S.

Fairy Tales Hair Care, the creators and leaders in the professional children’s hair care market, is pleased to announce SalonCentric will be the nationwide distributor of the best-selling children’s professional brand.

Created in 1999, The Rosemary Repel® Lice Prevention System is the #1 selling children’s professional line. Infused with organic herbs, Rosemary Repel® is used as a daily hair care regime as it cleans, conditions and most importantly, it is proven to prevent head lice. The American Academy of Pediatrics estimates between 10-12 million cases each year and parents have come to rely on the Fairy Tales name to protect their children from the stigma of head lice. Lice prevention is imperative to stop outbreaks and Fairy Tales is the brand parents know and trust.

Says Co-owner Risa Barash, “We are so pleased to be working with SalonCentric. Our cult-like following among parents has proven that parents need not just want Fairy Tales Hair Care and this idea has contributed greatly to our success. We are thrilled to expand our salon base with the help of SalonCentric to help our customers find Fairy Tales in their favorite salon.” For years, children’s lines have come and gone, but Fairy Tales grows exponentially each year. Sales in 2010 were up over 40% from 2009. "SalonCentric is pleased to partner with Fairy Tales and we are committed to ensuring the brand's continued growth within our salon network. Fairy Tales' trusted lice prevention products are an excellent complement to SalonCentric's current offerings,” says Mark Clevenger, Vice-President Merchandising and Partner Brand Development.

Fairy Tales Hair Care also includes All Natural Lice Good-Bye, the Fairy Tales Terminator Comb and Sleep-Tite Bed Bug Spray. Bed bug spray is not what one would expect to be sold in salons, but once again, Fairy Tales has the industry on its ear. With bed bug outbreaks reaching pandemic proportions, Sleep-Tite is a chemical-free enzymatic formula that kills on contact. The Sleep-Tite travel size is blowing off salon shelves and Fairy Tales will be launching the “Take Me to Bed” campaign at ABS next month.
Founded in 1999, Fairy Tales Hair Care is the creators and leaders in the professional children’s hair care. Headquartered in Passaic, New Jersey, is the #1 line of all natural lice prevention hair care products for children, that are safe, non-toxic and can be used daily all year-round.
