Us Too Center will be hosting a party in celebration of the completion of “Rock N’ Ride,” a charity bike ride benefiting children with autism and related disorders on Monday, March 7, 2011 from 4 to 6pm in Lake Forest, CA.

A party to celebrate “Rock N’ Ride,” a charity biking event supporting children with autism and related disorders, will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 from 4 to 6pm at Us Too Center, 25 Spectrum Pointe Dr. #405, Lake Forest, CA 92630.

The party will feature a drum circle, a live performance by the Expressions and live demonstrations of musical instruments. Families and friends will also have the opportunity to enjoy a hands-on experience with different musical instruments.

On December 28th the founders of The Music Factory School of Music in Costa Mesa cycled from San Francisco to Orange County to support music programs at their special needs facility. The “Rock N’ Ride” started at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco on December 28th and finished at the Us Too Center on January 2nd. Anthony Riedelsheimer and Danny Thompson cycled 512 miles to demonstrate their commitment to music education for kids with autism and other disabilities.

“At the Music Factory we feel truly privileged that music is a big part of our daily lives,” says Danny Thompson, Music Factory co-founder and drummer for the bands Face to Face and the Uprising. “We’re excited to share this experience with kids who have special needs and might be facing financial difficulties.”

“For a long time, we’ve wanted to do more with music programs at Us Too Center,” said Dena Lusardi, Founder of Us Too Center and parent of a child with Autism. “With the Music Factory’s deep experience and its founders’ passion for helping kids learn, we couldn’t have asked for a better partner.” At Us Too Center our goal is to give children with autism and related disorders the opportunity to have fun and enjoy recreational activities such as gymnastics, track and field, sensory art and dance.
