Hollywood Film producer and yoga teacher Tracee Stanley has a mission to make yoga accessible to everyone. After hearing feedback from people interested in yoga,she learned that most found group beginner classes very challenging.Tracee then designed an Intro to Yoga class using gentle movements linked to the breath. The practice is done entirely on the floor, both sitting or lying down. Sequenced to bring greater awareness to the breath and increase flexibility, the Mp3 download also includes a 10-minute deep relaxation and an additional energizing breath meditation that can be done with the practice or on its own.
Tracee was introduced to the practice of yoga in 1995 as a way to relieve stress from her demanding job as a film executive. She began studying with Yogarupa Rod Stryker in 2001, becoming a certified teacher. She founded Divine Motion and OmGaia Yoga studios where she designed classes for over ten years to gently shift energy within her students to effect transformation, healing and balance. Tracee has appeared in many magazines and is featured in Yoga Journal’s, Yoga as Medicine by Dr. Timothy McCall.
Tracee has recently joined Marianne Williamson at her A Course in Weight Loss retreats to introduce the practice of yoga and is working on her next yoga download designed to be done sitting in a chair.
She is currently producing the film Ruddlerless, to be directed by William H Macy through her film production company Kundali Entertainment.
