Brian Yeager, CEO of Champion Real Estate Services, and his Little Brother, Frank, received the 2010 Community-based Mentoring Match of the Year award from Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Central Ohio. Brian and Frank were matched five years ago and have created a bond that has transformed both of their lives.

Throughout their time in the program, Brian has supported Frank in becoming more engaged with people, working hard in school and maintaining A’s, being a model student and citizen. They share a love for going to movies, watching sports and just hanging out and talking. Frank is currently working at one of Brian’s complexes. They enjoy a very supportive friendship.

Brian’s love of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and the success of Champion Real Estate Services have given him an opportunity to do even more. He organizes an annual golf outing benefiting BBBS. The Doc & Yeager Invitational is held each summer to raise money and awareness for the program. More details and participation information for the 2011 event are available on their website, docandyeager.com. Brian’s support doesn’t stop there. Champion Real Estate Services is, also, a proud sponsor of the 2011 28th Annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake. This is an opportunity to get the entire company involved.

“Champion Real Estate Services will continue to commit time and resources to noble causes. We believe that running a successful business and civic responsibility go hand in hand!” said Brian.

During this year, Frank will be graduating from high school and going to culinary school at Columbus State Community College and Brian and his wife are busy raising their first child. There will be many big changes in both of their lives.

Both, Brian and Frank, are devoted to supporting the program that has given them so much. They have committed to each other that they will return to Big Brothers Big Sisters program in 2011 to be matched with a little brother. They are so excited to use what they have learned in support of another little brother’s future.
