One of the UK’s leading pie producers, Peter’s, is donating pies to the Blades Legends vs. Radio Sheffield All Stars charity game on Sunday February 20th at the BT Local Stadium. Peter’s will be supplying 300 of its Steak and Stones Bitter pies for the game, which are made exclusively for sale at Sheffield United games. The game has been organised to help lifelong Blades supporter Karl Darby, who suffers from Myoclonic Epilepsy. Karl is confined to a wheelchair, and has lived in the Leonard Cheshire Home on Mickey Lane, Totley, for the past 10 years, as he cannot stay with his parents due to the steep stairs at their house. Proceeds from the match will be used for building modifications which will allow Karl to move back home. Classic Lifts, Sheffield United’s lifts supplier are also supporting the cause, and are providing a stairlift for Karl.

We have had a long association with Peter's and really appreciate their support. I'm sure fans at the match on Sunday will be pleased as well, as the Premier Steak and Stones pie is already a big hit with Blades fans.
