National Electronic Attachment/Medical Electronic Attachment (NEA / MEA) today announced that its board of directors has named Melinda (Lindy) Benton to serve as the company's chief executive officer.
Benton, formerly the Chief Operating Officer of The Sage Group, plc, has spent her career in a range of healthcare general management, operations, sales and marketing positions. Prior to Sage, Benton was with the Cerner Corporation and Digital Equipment Corporation.

"Lindy's track record in building successful organizations based on establishing great customer relationships and leveraging product value will be key in taking NEA and MEA to the next level," added Youngren.

Thomas (Tom) Hughes, current CEO /President and Founder of NEA and MEA, is retiring after 23 years in the healthcare industry and will remain on the board.
