Schwendimann announced a settlement ending a legal dispute with Océ Imaging Inc. concerning t-shirt transfer technology for dark colored fabrics. Under the agreement, Océ agreed to pay Schwendimann a 6% royalty based, in part, on past sales of allegedly infringing products.
After more than two years of litigation, the United States Patent and Trademark Office has reissued the US Patent No. 6,884,311 B1 as U.S. Patent No. RE41,623 and has also issued to Schwendimann U.S. patent Nos. 7,749,581; 7,754,042; 7,766,475; 7,771,554 and 7,824,748 relating to transferring images onto colored bases.
"I'm very pleased to have reached a settlement with Océ.
