Pellon Autocentre will shortly be a fitting station for supermarket giants TESCO who have entered into the online marketing of Tyres. They have gone into an arrangement with online tyre experts and Premium garages, such as Pellon Tyres of Halifax.

Eric Roberts of Pellon Tyres in West Yorkshire UK has become one of latest businesses to join Black Circles tyre fitting scheme as a Premier Garage.

Tesco, the supermarket giants, have linked up with Black Circles to form a new online tyre business called The new online business will offer cheap tyres and also leading makes, such as Michelin tyres, Dunlop tyres and all other leading brands.

One of the main attractions to customers will be the offer of Clubcard points to their online customers that make a purchase. This opening offer is expected to give about 2,300 points to each customer who purchase Pirelli tyres, Hankook tyres and Yokohama tyres. Sales of all the other brands will offer customers double Clubcard points, which is a great incentive to buy tyres online.

Eric Roberts is looking forward to the venture, he says, ”this is a great chance to work with such business giants. We are already fitting tyres that have been driven to us from their website, this is truly a great opportunity that I could not resist."

The website will also offer menu servicing, also, in the future MOT testing will be available at Premier Partner Garages, with Tesco offering Clubcard points as an incentive to shop online.

To become a Premier Partner, Pellon Tyres had to follow a certain criteria. Black Circles required certain standards that the garages had to have, in order to give their customers comforts, such as refreshments, seated waiting areas and clearly displayed prices of services.

Garages had to join MotorCodes to keep up to a certain standard of workmanship and the quality of customer care. All this will give the public more confidence about the garage they are using to have their tyres fitted or car serviced at.

To order the tyres, the customer's just log onto and select the size and make of the tyre they require to buy. They are then directed to their nearest fitting centre and an appointment will be made for the tyre to be fitted, simple. The same method applies for servicing.

You will then be asked various simple questions about your car, registration etc, and you will be given a price for your service. You will then be offered to submit a time that suits you, then your nearest Premier Garage will be contacted to fit you in at a time and date of your preference.

Eric Roberts says, ”this system works fantastically well and suits both us the garage and the customer alike, a great tribute to Black-Circle and Tesco for putting this idea together”.

This scheme is going to be a great success and the thing of the future. The Tesco clubcard points will attract people to buy tyres online and once the public learn how easy the whole operation is, there will be massive increase of tyres and servicing bought online. This will also help their local partners such as Pellon Tyres in Halifax. MOT testing may also follow, adding another great service for the online giants to add to their services.
