Firm Honored with Gold ADDYs by American Advertising Federation of Dallas

I couldn't be more proud of the GDD Pep Boys team

Award-winning GDD Interactive has once again received top honors from the American Advertising Federation of Dallas during the 2011 ADDY awards. The Dallas based agency took home three Gold ADDYs for their Pep Boys Garage campaign, in the categories of Interactive Game and B-to-C Website.

We are thrilled to receive recognition for our efforts”.

The innovative Pep Boys Garage micro-site was the digital branding component of a new Pep Boys campaign that launched in April 2010. Through the Pep Boys Garage, customers enter a virtual reality with the iconic Manny, Mo and Jack, where they can download an iPhone app, download ringtones, connect with the brand on Facebook and Twitter and watch Pep Boys commercials. Customers can even become a Pep Boy bobble head using their own photo and can share their image with friends on Facebook. The Speed Wrench Game lets customers compete virtually to see who can put lug nuts on all the cars in the garage in the shortest amount of time.

GDD Interactive received Gold ADDY awards in the category of Interactive Game for Pep Boys Garage Speed Wrench Game and Pep Boys Garage Bobble Yourself. They also received a Gold ADDY in the category of B to C Website for the Pep Boys Garage.
