Share a story; lesson learned; a memorable experience; an important observation—LiWi calls them “Life-isms.” They are stories from the heart—with heart—and are uniquely yours. Arizona-based LiWi™ offers short essay contest, cash award and opportunity to be published.

Everybody has a story—a lesson learned; a memorable experience; an important observation—LiWi calls them “Life-isms.” They are stories from the heart—with heart—and are uniquely yours.

“Life-isms” can be compelling, gripping, emotional or even funny. They can be a flash of clarity, an experience spurring a critical “ah-ha” moment or a gift from tragedy. A “Life-ism” is reflective, never judgmental, grateful, not boastful, and showcases the goodness of the human spirit.

Share a “Life-ism,” be a part of history by visiting LiWi's Facebook page at and entering the essay contest. Essay submissions are being accepted from February 21, 2011 through March 11, 2011. Public voting for the top ten finalists will occur March 12 through March 18, 2011. Four randomly selected winners will receive a cash prize of $250.00. Essays may be published through multiple channels. The deadline to submit your story is Friday, March 11, 2011.

Enter to Win: Participants will enter a short essay to win by entering here or visiting LiWi's Facebook page. Write 200-800 words about how an experience in life changed, helped or taught you a valuable lesson. Winners of the cash prize will be notified Friday, March 25, 2011. If LiWi cannot contact a winner within five days of being selected, another winner will be randomly chosen.
