I am constantly getting asked where I get my beer T-shirts.
Denver, CO (PRWEB) February 24, 2011
The exciting new Beer T-Shirt Club, created by author of The Single Man's Guide to Cooking with Beer, Streeter McClure, is attracting a cult following among beer-lovers worldwide. For just $19.95, members receive a unique beer t-shirt from a different microbrewery each month. Each shirt is a collector’s item, exclusively sold through memberships purchased at http://www.beertshirtclub.com. “My husband is a beer-lover and it’s so hard finding him gifts that relate to his interest,” Melissa Ellis of Wyoming says. “I got him his first membership last Valentine’s Day, and it was one of the best purchases I could have made. Not only was it affordable, but I finally got him something he likes wearing.”
The T-shirts, sent out every month across the US, Canada, Australia and Mexico, feature a new microbrewery or beer logo, along with information about the microbrewery. Currently the club has well over a couple hundred members, but every month the club grows, as beer enthusiasts around the world hear about the club. “We are always looking for unique microbreweries to feature for each month's t-shirt design,” explains McClure, “The more extreme, the better.”
And the T-shirts certainly do get attention. “I am constantly getting asked where I get my beer T-shirts,” Jeff Conley, one of the club’s first members confesses. “The shirts are trendy, and often feature suds that my beer-loving friends have never heard of. We have made it a tradition to sample the beer featured on the club’s T-shirts at our monthly poker tournaments.”
Not only does the Beer T-Shirt Club cater to the beer-lovers of the world, but it also functions as a marketing tool for microbreweries. Some of the previously art choices come from Brooklyn Brewery, Thirsty Goat, Breakside Brewery, Twisted Pine Brewing Company, Hopyard IPA, and Bucket Head IPA. Many microbreweries are successful in a local market, but lack in bringing in national interest. Since the Beer T-Shirt Club sends shirts all over, many times breweries will gain business that they never had before. Many of the breweries featured in the club have seen the huge amount of out-of-state visitors following their T-shirts’ release. Breweries that are interested in being featured on a shirt, can send their information to support(at)beertshirtclub(dot)com. McClure started the club 15 months ago, after he wrote a cookbook, The Single Man’s Guide to Cooking with Beer. After he published his book, he realized that that weren’t many products out there for men that were truly passionate about beer. Being a beer connoisseur himself, he wanted to share his passion for discovering new microbreweries across the country, and created The Beer T-Shirt Club. Six and twelve month memberships can be purchased at http://www.beertshirtclub.com.
