YottaMark, Inc., the leader in traceability and authentication solutions, today celebrated the deployment of its 200th customer with new, even more affordable pricing for its HarvestMark PTI solution. Its 200th customer, Country Acres Cider & Produce, is now compliant with the PTI guidelines using HarvestMark case-level traceability. Based on the deep expertise gained by deploying 200+ customers, YottaMark has achieved efficiencies and scale to make PTI compliance even simpler and more affordable for growers and shippers of fresh food.

“HarvestMark traceability solutions are now used at 2,500 farms across North and South America. Based on this experience, we’ve gained cost and process advantages that we’re passing on to our customers to make compliance with the Produce Traceability Initiative even more affordable for the industry,” said J. Scott Carr, President and CEO, YottaMark. “To help growers and shippers reach the 2011 PTI deadline, we’re eliminating per-case fees.”

The HarvestMark PTI suite of solutions provides packers and shippers easy-to-install and simple-to-use tools to print PTI compliant case and RPC labels either on-demand or in volume; at the packing shed, on a pack-out line, in the field or at a cooler. Each label is fully compliant with PTI guidelines, and printed with a unique HarvestMark code that can be traced on the web at HarvestMark.com or simply scanned with the HarvestMark iPhone app, enabling instant traceability anywhere in the supply chain. Under the new pricing model, YottaMark has eliminated per-case fees for HarvestMark PTI solutions, and now offers solutions starting at just $3,250 plus a flat annual platform services fee.

“I received a letter from a large retail customer indicating they required PTI compliance,” stated Lester Garber, founder of Country Acres Cider, “Within three weeks of my call to HarvestMark, I was PTI compliant. HarvestMark’s PTI traceability was fast and easy to use.”

In addition to case-level traceability, YottaMark also offers HarvestMark item-level traceability, which helps optimize freshness and quality at the shelf, enhances consumer engagement, and allows growers and shippers to respond quickly in case of a food safety event. Many HarvestMark customers employ both item and case-level traceability as a competitive advantage to build their businesses.
