Stuntbird Games is proud to announce that Jounce, its debut browser-based game, is now available to play and personalize for free on Facebook.
Jounce, the brainchild of video game veteran Dean Ruggles, is a casual, simple game that enables players to customize the main character’s face with their own images. The player pilots a frog across a pond, looking to catch as many fireflies as possible before heading home.
Playable and fun for people of all ages, Jounce was initially designed to entertain Ruggles’ six- and three-year-old daughters. “They loved the idea of playing a game where they were the characters,” he says. “It caught their attention and made playing the game more enjoyable.”
Ruggles opted to build the game to be played on the Facebook architecture for its popularity, stability and the ability for players to save and share their experience with family and friends after paying a small fee.
