We are thrilled to team up with Alchemist Management
Ft. Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) February 24, 2011
CardWoo, a leading gift card service that buys unwanted gift cards and sells gift cards to the world's most popular stores and restaurants at great discounts, announces their exclusive partnership with MC Hammer's Alchemist Management/Alchemist Clothing. CardWoo will sponsor the heavy-handed MMA fighter Jorge "El Conquistador" Rivera. A co-event middleweight fight between Rivera and top 10 middleweight contender Michael "The Count" Bisping will take place on February 27th, 2011 in sold-out Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia. The pay-per-view fight will air Live in the United States on Saturday night, February 26, 2011, headlined by a welterweight fight between B.J. Penn and Jon Fitch.
CardWoo, featured on The View, ABC and Fox News, proudly supports the world's fastest growing main stream sport, and has sponsored some of the most popular fighters, including middleweight contender and UFC legend Nate Marquardt, heavyweight sensation Brendan Schaub, and 6 ' 11 up-and-comer Stefan "The Skyscraper" Struve.
"We are thrilled to team up with Alchemist Management," said CardWoo Chief Administrative Officer Harry Rosenfeld. "We strongly believe in Alchemist's commitment and support of their fighters and MMA, and believe our partnership is a great fit."
Rivera will premiere the Official Alchemist Clothing Walkout T-Shirt , with a CardWoo hat, and CardWoo prominently displayed on his shorts and banner at his upcoming fight.
"MMA is the fastest growing sport on the planet," said MC Hammer. "Alchemist Management/Alchemist Clothing captures the vast demographic that is so passionate about MMA."
Rivera, making the most of his opportunity in the spotlight, has taken his marketing viral with YouTube Prefight Spoofs. The video clips mock Bisping's speaking patterns, accent, and for getting a 'decision win' in the 2007 Matt Hamill fight--one of the more controversial decisions. Rivera continues to mock Bisping, particularly his punching power and claims that Bisping holds the record for most shots to the head without a knockout. Rivera also labels Bisping a "professional decision maker," a jab at Bisping's tendency to go to the judges' scorecards in his recent wins.
"Every fight is personal. I love when people say "nothing is personal," said Rivera. We are going to punch each other in the face, and you can be damn sure it's going to be personal real quick. You gotta do what you gotta do to get over, and that's it. I'm not worried about anything. It's all fun right now before the fight, but when we get there - it will be strictly business."
