PLATO Learning Courses Named in District Administration Top 100 Products

Annual readers’ choice awards cite new courses and platform enhancements.

PLATO Learning online courses have been named in District Administration magazine’s 2010 Readers’ Choice Top 100 Products. District Administration, the most read and most preferred publication in its industry, is read by over 73,000 K-12 school district leaders across the country and a record number of them participated in selecting the 2010 Top 100 Products winners. Other 2010 winners include Apple’s iPad, Google Apps for Education, and The ActivClassroom from Promethean.

According to the magazine’s Kurt Eisele-Dyrli, “Many readers described their district’s limited budgets and reduced resources in their nominations, while simultaneously praising the products that helped them maintain a high quality of instruction, offer new educational opportunities to students, streamline complex administrative tasks, and do more with less.” PLATO Learning courses were specifically cited for new collaboration features, including digital drop boxes and threaded discussions, as well as for new Advanced Placement courses.
