Burkart has more than 20 years of experience working with some of the world’s leading companies. He is a highly respected leader in integrated marketing with expertise in advertising, direct marketing, digital advertising, database segmentation, customer relationship management, analytic modeling techniques and Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI).

Prior to joining RBG Advertising, Burkart delivered global sales and marketing strategy for Microsoft, Gerber LIfe, SAP, and other industry leaders. While President of AgeWave, a leading consulting firm focused on the mature market, he led initiatives for clients such as MiracleEar, BlueCross Blue Shield and American Express helping them to anticipate the diverse needs and expectations of the growing mature market.

Burkart served as president of Grey Direct|San Francisco where he helped, Oracle, HP, McAfee, and Pinnacle Software create a foundation of ROMI and the optimization of global digital demand generation.

Under his leadership as president of Customer Development Corporation (CDC is now known as Choice Point Precision Marketing), CDC grew to become the fourth largest direct response agency in America. Clients included Charles Schwab, Citibank, HSBC, Century 21, Domino’s Pizza, Allstate, Prudential Financial and MetLife.

Burkart has served as a Board Member of the Direct Marketing Education Foundation and a faculty member of Northwestern University’s Annual Marketing Symposium. He is a member of the California Film Institute. He earned his BS and an MBA with a specialization in Integrated Marketing from Saint Louis University. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife Jill and son Will.
