Supercircuits today announced the launch of their next-generation SC Black bullet security cameras.

“Our goal in developing these next generation cameras is to provide our customers with the ultimate in simplicity and convenience for indoor and outdoor applications at more cost-effective prices,” explained Keith Becker, Product Manager for Supercircuits.

The new line of bullet cameras includes many advanced performance-enhancing features, including: built-in UTP, digital noise reduction, built-in on screen display, digital slow shutter, and digital wide dynamic range for advanced backlight control.

All of the cameras in the new SC Black range feature 600 lines of resolution, at least a 2.8-12mm varifocal lens, dual voltage 12VDC/24VAC operation, and an industry-leading five-year warranty. They come standard with a tri-axis mounting bracket for easy installation on walls or ceilings.
Each model features a durable IP67 weatherproof construction and built-in heater that allows the camera to operate in temperatures as low as -20°F. The built-in heaters also act as a built-in defogger and allow the cameras to function in up to 95% humidity.

The tool-free, concealed OSD and spot video out compartment eliminates the need for a remote control to adjust camera tuning. This watertight compartment also reduces the need for multiple installation tools, resulting in faster camera adjustments and installations.

The new bullet camera line-up incorporates auto-adjusting IR arrays that automatically control the infrared strength to eliminate IR washout on objects that are close to the camera. The array also adjusts the infrared strength to illuminate subjects as they approach the camera so that their features remain unobstructed. The BLK-CPT237VH and BLK-CZT242VH models feature a small adjustment knob to lengthen and narrow or shorten and widen the IR array field of view.
