“The viral aspect of the HLL network is amplified when advertisers provide Share Rewards. It's a businesses' way of thanking users for the word of mouth support” says HLL co-founder Pierre Hage.

hyperlocallive (HLL), a Toronto based company, is launching their mobile hyper local event and advertising network this week.
There are a couple of things that set them apart from other mobile advertising networks. The first thing you'll notice is their focus on real time live events, local specials and their unique ability to recommend other complementary events taking place nearby. For example, while reading up on a concert starting at 8 pm, HLL might suggest a wing special taking place from 4 to 9 at a nearby restaurant. It might also suggest a pub with a drink special you could checkout after the concert. Advertisers pay to have their events presented along side other upcoming or live events.
The second difference you'll notice is the incentives, called Share Rewards, offered to users who share certain HLL events with their social networks. Advertisers are given the opportunity to increase the reach of their ads by offering incentives to users who share their event with friends through social media.
“The viral aspect of the HLL network is amplified when advertisers provide Share Rewards. It's a businesses' way of thanking users for the word of mouth support,” says HLL co-founder Pierre Hage.
HLL is aggressively planning to launch in other major North American cities in the next couple of months. If the initial feedback is of any indication, it won't be long before you start discovering and sharing local events and specials on the HLL network.
