Over the past several years, indoor air quality has become an important topic among the architectural and interior design communities. Considering indoor air quality in the design of interior spaces is integral to the health and wellbeing of a building’s occupants and has been the subject of much research in the design of schools, hospitals and commercial buildings. While society is often informed when the quality of outdoor air is compromised with smog, dust and other pollutants, the quality of indoor air may be even more harmful. The fact that many of the contributors to poor indoor air quality are not visible or noticeable makes the health threat difficult to identify.

One of the objectives of the live webinar is to help attendees gain an awareness of how the products that go into buildings affect indoor air quality. “We believe that healthy air equals healthy people,” commented Larry Dronek, vice president of Marketing at InPro. “We’re conducting this event to broaden the understanding of air-quality issues in building design.”
