The merging of two platforms: great music and the green expo-summit are unique and redefine the summer music festival scene. EMU combines music and green, featuring headlining bands and live musical acts in a multitude of genres from folk to electronica, all performing in a pioneering, carbon-neutral environment in Snowmass. The mountain concert along with meandering hiking trails, outdoor special events, and exclusive parties, all come together to create an unmatched festival experience.

“EMU is a tremendous opportunity to showcase Snowmass’ green side and we are excited to host this event,” said Susan Hamley, director, Snowmass Tourism. “Snowmass is known as a mountain music hub but we are also an eco-friendly community from our Gold rated LEED hotel, the Viceroy Snowmass and on-mountain restaurant Sam’s Smokehouse, to the wind power turbines providing clean, alternative energy for the resort. It’s just a perfect event combination for Snowmass.”

Other festival events range from an EcoClimbit Challenge, a 3,000 vertical-foot competitive mountain climb, meditative outdoor yoga sessions in the meadow, to champagne networking opportunities poolside.
