In a way, it’s a tribute to Charlie Sheen’s attempt to expose the Hollywood lies, but the topic is how to attract women and not Two And A Half Men haha!

As the world seems quick to judge actor Charlie Sheen for the remarks about Hollywood (http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20469691,00.html ), across the pond someone else is mad at people in Hollywood too.
It seems Dutch dating guru Dennis Miedema has lots to say about Hollywood:
“When it comes to what attracts women, guess who were the people responsible for making single guys believe that buying flowers, candy, and gifts, and taking women to fancy restaurants will attract women? Hollywood! Meanwhile, that’s nothing more than a manipulated version of reality.”
Miedema explains: “See, sure women are into romance and will respond when a guy makes all kinds of romantic gestures, but that’s only after multiple dates. Why? Because when a guy tries to shower a woman with roses, restaurants, and what not, the only thing the guy ends up doing is letting the woman think someone’s trying to buy her approval. And if he's buying approval, he must be making up for something he lacks, right? That’s not what attracts women, it’s turns them off.”
He continues: “That’s not the only lie about attracting women Hollywood spread with movies like Pretty Woman, Sleepless in Seattle, and many others. There are more, like how a woman may date a jerk at the start of the movie, but then meets a nice guy who is totally clueless about women, and she likes him. Then he tries to impress her by acting like a dominant, kind of rude dude and she gets angry, but as soon as he is himself again? She breaks up with the jerk and dates him instead. That’s a fairytale Hollywood has fed guys all over the planet for decades, but it’s a big, fat lie.”
Miedema get’s angry: “Because when one pays close attention, one sees that the “jerk” had goals in life, was telling a woman what to do, and was busting her balls a lot. The whole manipulation here is that these qualities will all attract women like crazy, but Hollywood manipulates them by turning having goals in life into neglecting women, being dominant into being a dictator, playfully teasing into mental torture, and so on. The result is that single guys think they need to be overly nice, so they end up refusing to have goals, be dominant, and tease women. That’s insane! That’s not what attracts women!”
Dennis Miedema explains: “See where this is going? Hollywood has exaggerated things that attract women up to the point where they become negative qualities, but everything becomes a negative quality when people overdo it. Everything from working out (example: dehydration) to being self-employed (example: burn-out). This is why the free ebook about what attracts women was written. To separate fact from fiction.”
He concludes: “And to illustrate the point here: the ebook contains over 60 pages with clues about what attracts women, that’s how many lies there are that Hollywood has spread over the years! Every single page was necessary to expose each lie and, in a way, it’s a tribute to Charlie Sheen’s attempt to expose the Hollywood lies, but the topic is how to attract women and not Two And A Half Men haha!”
