Cloud Services Coalition to Exhibit at Channel Partners Expo March 2011

Cloud Services Coalition will be attending and exhibiting at the Spring 2011 Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Cloud Services Coalition (CSC), an organization of Master Agents focused on cloud services, has announced that it will be exhibiting at this year’s Channel Partners Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Coalition will be extending an offer to agents who want to add cloud services to their sales portfolios.

The Cloud Services Coalition was originally introduced in early 2010 as a care-and-share group called the Cloud Services Round Table. The group has expanded its scope after demand has grown for agents to find consultative master agents that have embraced cloud providers and have contracts that provide a recurring commission.

“Agents are finding that throwing a quick quote at a cloud opportunity fails to produce a sale more often than not. We spend a lot of time teaching agents about solution selling rather than price selling,” said Clark Atwood, Vice President of Concierge Communications and Chairman of CSC. “We help agents move out of the pure commodity sale and up the solution stack to disruptive and custom solutions which have higher commissions that tend to last longer.”

The founding members of the group, Concierge Communications and Terrapin Solutions are also participating in education sessions during the Expo. Clark Atwood, Vice President of Concierge Communications will be moderating, “Communications in the Cloud: Threat or Opportunity?” on Monday, March 14. The same day, Andrew Pryfogle, President and CEO of Terrapin Solutions will be speaking for, “Learn the Terrapin Method – Identifying Your Customers’ Needs and Finding Their Best Fit Solution.” Both companies are also members of the Cloud Convergence Council and will be participating in panel discussions.

“The Channel Partners Expo in Las Vegas enables us to reach out to agents who want to embrace cloud solution selling but have not had the support in the past,” said Andrew Pryfogle. “The demand for cloud solutions is growing rapidly and we are glad that we will be showcasing solutions and helping agents embrace this wave of change.”
