Damaka's software solution on the mobile devices will help enterprises which has deployed both Polycom and Tandberg endpoints to have a video conference involving disparate devices in the same session
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) March 1, 2011
Damaka®, a technology pioneer in Mobile Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC), today announced the launch of its unique mobile video conferencing solution that allows a mobile device like iPhone or Android to initiate a video conference session with Polycom® and Cisco® Tandberg Video endpoints. This is part of Damaka’s vision to introduce cutting edge technology and innovation in the Enterprise Mobile Video market segment.
Damaka’s Amadeo™ solution provides both Peer-to-Peer (P2P) SIP and server based connectivity to Amadeo and non-Amadeo endpoints. This means, Amadeo users can leverage Damaka’s hybrid architecture to establish a video conference session that includes P2P users, Polycom and Tandberg endpoints simultaneously.
“Current trends clearly indicate that the mobile device revolution has already begun and our continued innovation in mobile video technology caters to the ever demanding enterprise savvy users,” said Siva Chaturvedi, CEO, Damaka. “Our ability to conference P2P users, Polycom, and Tandberg endpoints on the same video conference session is a testament to our commitment to be the technology leader in Mobile UCC.”
As part of its Enterprise Mobile Video solution, Amadeo on Smartphones and Tablets are already integrated with video conferencing platforms from Polycom, Tandberg, and Microsoft® OCS/Lync™. Amadeo solution is available on Android™, iPhone®, iPad™, Symbian®, Blackberry™, and Windows Mobile® platforms.
