William Scheibner’s designation ties his background in intelligence and security to success as a San Diego real estate agent.

William Scheibner takes the hassle out of what many consider a cumbersome task, whether it is buying a first home, downsizing or upgrading, or investing from abroad.

“It’s all about figuring things out, getting things done, and taking care of people,” says William Scheibner, a residential real estate broker in San Diego. William’s unusual background helps him successfully represent his real estate clients.

In a previous career, William gathered intelligence in response to requirements by policymakers and military commanders. Before that, he served in the Navy. William has worked and resided all over the world, privately, in official capacities, and as a businessman. Fluency in languages and cultural adaptability come naturally, as does the ability to plan and manage complex projects.

These days, William gathers and analyzes information so his clients can make the best-informed decisions, as they plan to buy or sell San Diego homes, or invest in San Diego real estate. William takes the hassle out of what many consider a cumbersome task, whether it is buying a first home, downsizing or upgrading, or investing from abroad.

The Professional Certification Board of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) International recently awarded William the designation as Certified Protection Professional (CPP). This recognition ties into William’s past work in intelligence and security and his continuous ties to the community of security professionals. Achievement of the CPP designation, held by only 4500 individuals around the world, has prompted some people to ask a question which William has heard before: “Why are you in real estate?”

The answer, William says, is simple: “Whether it is contributing to national security, flying an airplane, sailing a ship, or conducting business, it’s all about figuring things out, getting things done, and taking care of the client. And that always requires an ability to gather and analyze information and understand people. In a sense, I offer security to my clients.”
