The online MS in Leadership at Lubbock Christian University gives students the high-level perspective, organizational insight, and people-management skills they need to successfully lead employees and organizations. Students become thoughtful leaders who understand the formal and informal strategies that promote efficiency and growth; they also develop the skills necessary for “servant leadership,” a concept based on the notion that successful leaders serve first. Christian principles and values are also woven into the curriculum.

The core curriculum of the MS in Leadership program emphasizes people-focused management techniques such as those related to conflict management, interpersonal relationships, and emotional intelligence. Through their chosen specialization, students dive deeper into their areas of interest:

  •     Organizational Management: Students learn to become an organizational agent of change and prepare to lead companies, teams, and individuals to positively contribute to our global society.
  •     Not-for-Profit Management: Students studying this specialization learn to confidently launch and lead not-for-profit organizations through today’s public, legal, and ethical challenges—and onward and upward to mission fulfillment.

Most individuals travel through several jobs and even several careers in a lifetime. The online Master’s in Leadership with its varying specializations offers continuing value throughout graduates’ careers with outcomes and skills that can be applied across a wide variety of industries and fields, such as executive management, project management and coordination, volunteer work, service organizations, and the government.
