Joint Solution Will Enhance Risk Identification and Mitigation Capabilities for Organizations, Institutions and Governments

Corporate Information Group LTD (CIG), the leading provider of Technical Security Counter Measure (TSCM) sweeps to the United Kingdom (UK) and European Union (EU) has announced that it has signed an agreement with Critical Defence, LLC of Washington, DC to offer an expanded suite of services to both company’s clients. Under the mutual reseller and referral agreement Critical Defence will offer CIG powered TSCM services to its clients while CIG offers Critical Defence’s line of information assurance services to theirs.

Jeffrey Bernstein, Executive Vice President of Critical Defence stated, “Organizations are becoming more and more vulnerable to competitors, criminals, foreign intelligence services, terrorists and other adversaries”. Bernstein added, ”These adversaries may attempt to gain illegal access to conversation or information deemed sensitive, confidential or proprietary. In most high-risk environments, a successful covert breach can cause damage to reputation, disruption to operations or even total failure for an organization.”

The CIG offering is a military-class electronic counter-measure identification service that enables clients to detect the presence of electronic surveillance devices. The firm is led by Managing Director Jeffrey Jenkinson, a veteran specialist in technical surveillance countermeasures who previously served within the United Kingdom Special Forces. In 1992, Mr. Jenkinson was awarded the Member of the British Empire (MBE) for his service by the Queen of England.

Jeffrey Jenkinson was quoted, “We’ve worked closely with the Critical Defence team since 2007 and this agreement is simply a formalization of our successful ongoing collaborative efforts.” Mr. Jenkinson added, “We view Critical Defence as an extension of our own team. Together we provide our clients with the quality of services that they require and demand.”

In addition to the TSCM offering the expanded suite of services offered by CIG and Critical Defence includes security assessment, training, regulatory compliance, incident management and emergency response.
