We are very proud of it and look forward to new patient experiences

Board certified plastic surgeon Christopher K. Livingston, M.D., F.A.C.S., P.A. has recently moved into a newly remodeled private practice office located on the ninth floor of the University of Texas Professional Building adjacent to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. After a year-long remodeling of the office, Dr. Livingston’s practice opened its new doors on February 1, 2011. “We are very proud of it and look forward to new patient experiences,” says the Houston plastic surgeon.

A modern and more patient-friendly facility, the 3,000 square foot practice with hardwood and granite décor, greets patients with a water wall in the reception area. There is also a coffee bar and flat screen television to watch while they wait. With four consultation rooms and one procedure room, Dr. Livingston can meet with patients and perform minor procedures at the same location. Major procedures requiring general anesthesia are typically performed at Memorial Hermann Hospital in order to monitor the patients’ vitals throughout the procedure.

In addition, Dr. Livingston’s office is now “paperless;” the medical records are electronic, eliminating the need for mounds of paper files. Patients are now able to move through the process of their procedure much quicker with this new system. In the future, Dr. Livingston hopes to have all pre-consultation paperwork filled out online.

Some of the commonly performed cosmetic plastic surgery procedures include breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast reconstruction, liposuction, tummy tuck surgery, facelift, eyelid surgery, Botox and Juvederm injections, and hand reconstruction. Furthermore, a full-time aesthetician is on the premises to provide a variety of skin care treatments. Patients may undergo chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser skin resurfacing, laser tattoo removal, and laser hair removal. Additionally, the practice of Dr. Livingston has its own line of facial products that patients may use to combine with their skin care treatments.

Patients interested in undergoing a cosmetic plastic surgery procedure with Dr. Livingston may browse his website (drchrislivingston.com) to schedule an appointment. Along with his professional staff, Dr. Livingston is committed to patients’ safety and satisfaction throughout the entire process – from consultation to the final post-surgery visit.
