BlueMesh Networks expanded it’s WiFiRanger branded product line today with the addition of the WiFiRanger Pro intelligent mobile router. The WiFiRanger Pro includes several advanced features above and beyond the standard WiFiRanger including intelligent Meshing and IP Settings.
BlueMesh Networks, an industry leader in turn-key network solutions, develops products for consumers and businesses to provide network access to the ever growing WiFi, 3G and 4G wireless markets. “The WiFiRanger Pro expands our products and meets the idea we have behind the WiFiRanger brand; powerful products that are simple to use.” said Miles Penrod, Vice President of Market Development, “With more people using wireless networks every day, WiFiRanger helps people stay connected to the internet, and does it automatically using either 3G, 4G WiMAX, 4G LTE, WiFi for WAN, or Ethernet. Now you can have an intelligent router that keeps you online, without having to read a technical manual to figure out how to use it.”
The WiFiRanger Pro, much like the standard WiFiRanger that has been available since 2010, provides users with an intelligent router that takes the difficulty out of owning a router with advanced features. The WiFiRanger Pro extends the capabilities while keeping the same simple control panel that makes it so even customers with basic computer experience can operate and enjoy the product. The WiFiRanger Pro includes all the same feature as a standard WiFiRanger, but adds support for Meshing, Advanced Internet Protocol Addressing, MotoSat satellite receiver controls, and the upcoming WFRBoost intelligent WiFi bridging accessory.
The intelligent Meshing of the WiFiRanger Pro now gives users the ability to use WiFi to setup a mesh network by simply setting a simple NodeID number, and then placing WiFiRangers in range of each other. Setting up WiFi for a large event is now more simple than ever. And with the ability to use the advanced IP features to set multiple static IP addresses, you can build the network to fit your needs.
The MotoSat control feature allows existing satellite internet owners to not only use satellite internet through their WiFiRanger Pro, but allows them to control the satellite modem and receiver as well. Now you can have internet virtually anywhere and be able to adjust it without changing your physical cables.
“This product really compliments all the wireless networks that are out there. If you use Mobile Broadband cards from companies like Verizon, AT&T or Sprint, then it allows you to take those cards and use them through WiFi or Ethernet. For example, if you have a WiFi subscription from Boingo, T-Mobile or TengoInternet, you can reuse it for your own internet access. Or if you have Cable or DSL, you can just plug that right in. It takes the work out of making wireless networks available to you” Penrod commented.
The WiFiRanger Pro will be available 3/2/2011 with an MSRP of $139.99
